Our College Held a Meeting of Teachers and Graduate Students of Grade 2020
In order to warm welcome postgraduate of grade 2020, and to further deepen the understanding between teachers and students, a meeting of teachers and graduate students of Grade 2020 was held on September 4th in the college conference room in the afternoon. The school secretary of the party committee Wang Youzhi, Dean Han Huijian, vice secretary of party committee Lv Haixia, vice dean Zhang Yunfeng, vice dean Lin Peiguang, dean assistant Zhang Rui, the graduate secretary Zhao Zhongchuan, and all the graduate students of grade 2020 attended the meeting. Han Huijian made an opening speech, welcoming the arrival of the new students of grade 2020, and emphatically introduced the teaching level, faculty and development prospect of our college. Our college has 6 provincial research platforms and 7 provincial talent teams, as well as international professional teachers to teach graduate students. At the same time, the computer science discipline ranks top 100 in China, and in 2020, the computer science discipline ranks the “World first-class Discipline” list of soft science for the first time. It can be seen that the computer science major develops rapidly and has a broad prospect. In addition, Han Huijian introduced other specific conditions of our college to the participating graduate students in detail and put forward the following requirements to the students: On the one hand, the postgraduate entrance examination for grade 2020 is in a special period of epidemic situation. After this test, graduate students should understand the advantages of socialist system and establish confidence in the excellent culture of the Chinese nation. To be inspirational and work hard. On the other hand, the graduate students should recognize that although China’s science and technology are developing rapidly, some core technologies have not broken the foreign monopoly, and the innovation model has yet to be improved. Students should combine the national value orientation and social needs, be confident and brave to bear the research pioneer, and attach importance to the original spirit of science and technology.
Then Dou Wenhan, the representative of the freshmen, made a speech, expressing the expectation and prospect for the future study of grade 2020. Second, the college has a intelligent faculty, and most of the tutors have excellent scientific research ability and have undertaken national projects and important projects. He hoped the students could learn from the tutors seriously, acquire real knowledge, master real skills and increase real talents. Third, the institute has the most advanced laboratory equipment, with six big research platforms such as digital media technology laboratory of Shandong Province, data mining and visualization doctoral specialties, which can realize a continuous academic project that involves postgraduate and doctoral study, providing a good resource for further study of graduate students. He encouraged graduate students to make good use of resources platform, set up the higher level academic pursuit. Fourth, learn to manage and be credible, complete learning tasks of each stage. He pointed out that graduate students should strengthen self-management, have clear goals, fulfill self-discipline to learn, at the same time be credible, consciously resist academic misconduct. Students must not falsify, let alone to cheat. Fifth, the epidemic situation is still severe, and epidemic prevention and control should not be taken lightly. It is a political task at present to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control, and we must strictly follow the School’s Work Plan for returning to school for the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year to ensure safety.
