On March 28th, as the Qingming Festival approaches, in order to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs and further promote the spirit of patriotism, the Party Committee of the college organized a themed Party Day activity "Remembering the Revolutionary Martyrs and Drawing on the Strength of Advancements". Representative party members of teachers, students went to Hero Mountain to visit the Jinan Battle Memorial Hall and pay tribute to the martyrs.
Under the guidance of the staff at the memorial hall, participants delved into the entire process of the Jinan Campaign and the deeds of countless heroes during that tumultuous period. They then visited eight exhibition rooms, including "Battle of Peace, Life and Death Competition", "Strategizing the Sword to Point to Jinan", and "Vigorously Preparing for the Battle of Jinan".Through detailed cultural and historical materials, rich display forms, and vivid explanations, everyone can truly feel the fearless heroic spirit of revolutionary martyrs and the selfless dedication of the people of Jinan to support the front line.
In the solemn atmosphere of the memorial hall, Li Chenlu, the secretary of the student's third party branch, led all party members to face the bright red party flag, raise their right fist together, solemnly swear, inherit the will of revolutionary martyrs, and abide by their commitments to the party with practical actions.
The attendees climbed up the Hero Mountain and paid a silent tribute to the revolutionary martyrs in front of the Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Tower personally inscribed by Chairman Mao. After the silence, the teachers and students walked around the tower with great respect for the martyrs, reminiscing about their glorious deeds and realizing their dedication.
