On April 10, aparty of visitorsfromHengxing Universityof Science and Technology，including Li Jinhua, Dean of the School of Information Engineering, Jiang Zhijun, Dean of Teaching, and Zhang Liang, Deputy secretary, visited ourschool. The two sides held a discussion in Conference room 1406 of the school, and President Han Huijian met with guests and presided over the discussion. Vice President Zhang Yunfeng, Lin Peiguang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Lv Haixia, Assistant President Zhang Rui, Director of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Li Fangzhen attended the discussion.
Han Huijian extended a warm welcome to Li Jinhua and his delegation and introduced the overall situation of the school. He pointed out that in recent years, the school has made some achievements in discipline construction and professional construction, and has two national first-class undergraduate majors, a first-level master's degree in computer science and technology, and a second-level doctoral degree in data mining and visualization, serving the "Belt and Road" and recruiting international students (master's and doctor's degree). Shandong University of Finance and Economics is the only international chemical science academy with "financial intelligence" in the economic field. This year, it was approved to build the Modern Industry College of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Finance. Focusing on the regional economic restructuring and the task of the top ten industries, the Industry College aims to build a talent training innovation platform for industrial colleges that integrates "government, industry, university and research funds" and is complementary, mutually beneficial, interactive and multi-win, so as to promote the close connection between the supply side of the school's talent training and the industrial demand side. He pointed out that the School of Information Engineering ofHengxing Universityof Science and Technology has three undergraduate majors of software engineering, network engineering and artificial intelligence and three junior majors of computer network technology, big data technology and software technology, of which network engineering has won the specialty of Shandong Province, the provincial first-class professional construction point, and computer network technology has won the key professional support of Qingdao City. In accordance withHengxing University's school-running mode of "co-construction of the school and integration of production and education", the school has trained a large number of high-quality applied talents who are "both theoretical and practical ability of information engineering, innovative spirit and entrepreneurial ability".
