In order to further carry forward and inherit the spirit of Lei Feng, encourage and guide young students in colleges and universities to actively practice voluntary service activities to learn from Lei Feng, and write a moving movement of the new era of "Lei Feng Spirit", on the afternoon of March 7, Teng Zhaomin,deputy director of the national Lei Feng School Office and member of the "Red Port City" national defense education propaganda group in Donggang District, Rizhao City,was invited to Shandong University of Finance and Economics to give a keynote lecture entitled "Learning from Lei Feng's good Example - Tell you a real and beautiful Lei Feng" for young college students, whichwas sponsored by the Committee of Shandong University of Finance and Economics of the Communist Youth League, hosted by the College of Computer Science and Technology and the News media branch directly under the Shandong Committee of the Democratic Progress Committee. Wang Xiaodi, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the University, Yang Chunli, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Lv Haixia, Li Yunzhi, deputy secretaries of the Party Committee, counselors and representatives of teachers and students participated in the activity.
Before the report meeting, Yang Chunli issued a letter of appointment for Teng Zhaomin and hired him as a special tutor of Lei Feng cultural inheritance in the School of Computer Science and Technology.
At the report meeting, Teng Zhaomin explained the spirit of Lei Feng from four aspects: "What kind of person Lei Feng is, what is the connotation of Lei Feng spirit, how Lei Feng spirit is formed, and how college students in the new era should practice Lei Feng Spirit". By quoting detailed historical data and using vivid and plain language, he presents a real, ordinary, great,gloriousLei Feng and eternal Lei Feng from multiple perspectives of different life stages.Comrade Lei Feng’s"eight one" spiritwholeheartedly servingthe peoplewas deeply explained:thefire-likededication,thewater-likeunity spirit,thenail-likeresearch spirit,therice-saving spirit, a brick-likelabor spirit,theleaf-likegratitude spirit,thelight-likeself-improvement spirit,thesingle-mindedfool spirit.
Teng Zhaomin further elaborated on General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition and authoritative interpretation of Lei Feng's spirit. The students deeply realized that Lei Feng's spirit is eternal and timeless. It is the "modern version" of Chinese traditional virtues, the "model" of the CPC's purpose of serving the people, the "image version" of socialist core values, and the "Chinese version" of human civilization and morality.At the same time, it is a dynamic "forward type", constantly aggregating generations of "chasing Lei Feng, learning Lei Feng, doing Lei Feng", so that the spirit of Lei Feng can be passed down from generation to generation, catching fire.

Li Peifeng, a member of the 26th Research Support Group of our school and a computer science and technology major of the class of 2020, said, "The work of the graduate Education Support Group is a vivid embodiment of the spirit of Lei Feng. We bring knowledge and love to remote areas to help the children there broaden their horizons, ignite their dreams, and strive to become 'front' young people."
