The International Exchange and Cooperation Department Went to our College for Investigation and Guidance
On the afternoon of November 19th, Wang Jianbo, director of International Exchange and Cooperation Department, Deputy director of International exchange and Cooperation Department, Yang Chunxiao and Zhang Lei, and other 7 people came to our college for investigation and guidance. Party and government leaders, young teachers, graduate students and some undergraduates took part in the investigation and guidance.
Wang Youzhi, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and Han Huijian, executive President of the College warmly welcomed Director Wang Jianbo. First of all, Wang Jianbo made an in-depth analysis of the importance of international communication in the connotation development of our school centering on “double first class”, and explained the content and purpose of the research. Vice President Zhang Yunfeng reported the basic thinking, guiding ideology and existing problems of the college’s emphasis on international exchange and cooperation, and made specific reports on the international student education, undergraduate and graduate visiting programs, employment of foreign teachers and introduction of high-level experts in the international construction of the school.
Wang Jianbo gives full affirmation to the international exchange work of the college, and gives specific guidance to the problems concerned in the international exchange and cooperation of our college, and provides solutions to problems in the field office. Yang Chunxiao gives a detailed interpretation of the policies, regulations and other aspects of young backbone teachers’ overseas programs, graduate students’ international exchange programs and undergraduate students’ overseas programs that teachers and students care about, and provides important help for teachers and students’ overseas study exchanges. Zhang Lei made a detailed analysis of the work of the International Office from six aspects, namely, first-class discipline construction, talent cultivation, faculty management and team building, international scientific research action plan, foreign-related school running, and action plan for building global partners, which pointed out the direction for our institute to undertake international cooperation projects.
In the investigation, leaders of international exchange and cooperation department patiently and carefully answered the detailed questions put forward by teachers and students. This research activity has clarified the direction and straightened out the thinking for the future international exchange and cooperation of our institute, and played an important guiding role in effectively improving the internationalization and discipline construction of our institute.
