In order to understand the academic frontiers of the computer field, inspire scientific research ideas, and effectively enhance the scientific research and innovation capabilities of graduate students, the college organized an academic exchange meeting on the afternoon of November 14.
In order to understand the academic frontiers of the computer field, inspire scientific research ideas, and effectively enhance the scientific research and innovation capabilities of graduate students, the college organized an academic exchange meeting on the afternoon of November 14. The exchange meeting invited teachers Zhang Chunyun and Ran Lingqiang to give lectures. All the postgraduate students of the first and second grade postgraduate studies, part of the third grade postgraduate students and the teacher Cui Chaoran attended the exchange.
Teacher Zhang Chunyun first shared her recent research results: a paper on relationship classification "Multi-gram CNN-based Self-attention Model for Relation Classification". In the process of sharing and communication, Ms. Zhang explained in detail about the classification and extraction of relationships, how to effectively locate and use relationship trigger features and other issues. Later, Mr. Ran Lingqiang also showed his recent research results "Research on Laplacian Coordinates of Mesh Deformation", describing the research directions of Laplacian-based geometric texture synthesis and image scaling. Throughout the exchange meeting, the students actively communicated and exchanged on their own scientific research problems and the content shared by the teacher. The teachers expressed their own views on the scientific research work of the students and provided new scientific research ideas. At the end of the meeting, the two teachers also enthusiastically shared the difficulties encountered on the road of scientific research and the valuable experience in overcoming the difficulties, which infused students with strong confidence in the future.
This academic exchange meeting was a complete success. Through the academic sharing of the two teachers, all students benefited a lot. Not only did they learn how to improve their own research and learning ability, but also have deeper thinking about how to better spend the next graduate study life. It is believed that in the days to come, all students can improve themselves, create miracles and win the future through continuous efforts.
