Big Data Talent Training and Enterprise Application Report Meeting
With the development of information technology, the mobile internet and the internet of things have produced massive amounts of data, and the era of big data will follow. The era of big data opens another era in which human society uses the value of data. In 2015, our country proposed to implement a national big data strategy. In 2017, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized during the second collective study of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee that it is necessary to target the frontiers of world science and technology, concentrate superior resources to break through the core technology of big data, and accelerate the construction of an independent and controllable big data industry chain, value chain and ecosystem, use data as a link to promote in-depth integration of industry, academia and research, form a data-driven innovation system and development model, cultivate a group of big data leaders, and build a multi-level and multi-type big data talent team.
As the country attaches great importance to big data and the government also supports big data, big data takes root and blossoms in enterprises. In the next three to five years, China needs 1.8 million data talents, but currently there are only about 300,000 people. In 2020, based on the development of big data computing, analysis, storage, data mining, data analysis and other data industries, related industries need more data talents.
Based on this background, the school will hold a big data talent training and enterprise application report meeting on August 17, 2020 (Monday) from 9:00 to 11:00. Interested teachers and students are welcome to participate.

Main content: the background of the major of big data management and application and the establishment of universities; What is big data? What does the big data management and application major do? Speaker introduction: Wang Gaoshan, Ph.D. in Management; Associate Professor; Director of the Department of Big Data, School of Management Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Finance and Economics; Deputy Dean of the Institute of Digital Economy, Shandong University of Finance and Economics; Vice President of Shandong Digital Economy Association; China Information Economics Association Director; Director of Big Data and Business Analysis Branch of Chinese Society of Management Science and Engineering. He presided over 1 Humanities and Social Science Project of the Ministry of Education, 1 Shandong Natural Fund Project, and 2 Shandong Social Science Fund Projects; published more than 30 papers in journals and conferences such as Management Review and Asia Pacific Information System Annual Conference (PACIS) ; won provincial awards for 3 times.

Main content: Big data in the enterprise application direction; Inspur big data application practice.
Speaker introduction: Yang Shenghua, manager of R&D and delivery department of Inspur Group's big data division. He is familiar with big data technology knowledge system. He participated in the Ministry of Commerce e-commerce monitoring platform, application projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology: big data transaction supervision technology research, platform operation and demonstration, Internet enterprise big data mining system of the Guangdong Provincial Economic and Information Commission, the distributed Internet data collection key technology research of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the research and development of multiple projects or topics. He has extensive experience in distributed application design and development.
Report 3: "New Career-Analysis of Big Data Engineering and Technical Personnel"
Main content: What industries does big data apply to? Classic cases of big data and Cluster Tech's big data solutions; what are the learning content of big data engineers of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology? Employment direction and job position after work; simple operation and process of big data analysis platform. In the end the speaker will answer audience’s questions online.
